September is Hispanic Heritage Month

Student Activities is excited to invite you to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, starting September 16! We will be honoring the rich culture of the Hispanic community with a variety of events and activities.

Café y Conexiónes – September 16, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., AC1 and AC3 Roundabout

  • Join us for a warm kick-off to Hispanic Heritage Month with a meet and greet of your Latino/a faculty and staff.
  • Free Pan Dulce (sweet bread) and Café (coffee)

Día de Cultura – September 16, 12:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Outdoors

  • Watch our talented faculty and staff share their culinary traditions and flavors. Come taste, learn, and celebrate our diverse heritage.
  • To participate, use the QR code below to RSVP. Hands-On Cooking Demonstration, Loteria and Mixer to Follow

Cine Fiesta – September 19, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., AC1-150

  • A special screening of a captivating Hispanic film that highlights the richness of our culture and stories. The film will be selected by the audience.
  • Free Movie Screening, Free Snacks and Popcorn

Noche de Baile – September 27, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Outdoors

  • An evening full of dance and celebration! Come ready to learn new steps, see amazing performances and show off your dance moves!
  • Community Resources, Live Performances, DJ, and Photo Booth

Equity Book Voucher

Get help paying for books and essential course materials. Current Clovis Community College (CCC) students who are facing financial barriers have the opportunity to apply for an Equity Book Grant to help purchase textbooks and supplies for your classes. The Equity Book Grants are offered through the Equity Program and can only be redeemed for enrolled classes at Clovis Community College.

  • Apply each semester
  • Continuous support from CCC Student Success Coaches
  • First-time students can apply
  • Completed FAFSA application highly recommended

Transfer Day 2024 Festival

Join us on Tuesday October 1 from 10 am to 12:30 pm in front of the Bookstore/Cafe for the Transfer Day Festival! Speak with four-year campus representatives and more! There will be a variety of food trucks, live music, engaging activities and giveaways. Relaxed parking in student stalls.
