Our Mission:
To help Clovis Community College students maximize their educational experience and realize their full potential.
Student Success Coaching sessions are one-on-one meetings between you and a coach to help you set goals and navigate campus. Student Success Coaches can assist with questions and challenges that may arise during the semester and provide you with referrals to appropriate resources.

You can meet with a Student Success Coach online. This appointment can take up to 30 minutes, please be sure to allow sufficient time.

Faculty and staff can request presentations on a variety of topics for class or as part of staff training. Complete this request form for the classroom presentation.

Student Success Coaching is designed to help students maximize their college experience and reach their goals. This is done through 30-minute one-on-one meetings between the Coach and the student. Student Success Coaches are available to aid students in identifying their educational and personal goals. Coaches also offer referrals to campus and community resources and help keep you motivated and accountable to your college goals.
No, coaching is not tutoring. Coaching does not take the place of receiving tutoring. If you would like more information about tutoring, here is the link: Tutoring Center.
No, coaching is not academic counseling. Coaches do not help students prepare their Student Educational Plans, select courses, or advise. Additionally, coaches cannot help students make financial aid decisions. For these areas, please see a financial or academic counselor.

All students attending Clovis Community College can benefit from meeting with a Student Success Coach! Coaches can help students discover their personal strengths, help students find extracurricular or leadership activities, and get students connected to campus or community resources.
No. There is no limit to the number of times you can meet with a Student Success Coach.
You are welcome to schedule an appointment with a specific coach if that best suits your needs. However, we are a team and any of us are happy to help support your success!
