Parking

The fee for parking on approved parking facilities is:

$30 per semester for spring and fall semesters

$20 for Summer Semester

Fees are subject to change without notice.

Student and employee parking is available on both the Clovis and Herndon campuses. All vehicles must display an SCCCD parking permit to park in campus lots. For the location of parking lots on our campuses, see the Clovis campus map.

Purchase your permit online today! The State Center Community College District Police Department has a new online system for students and employee to purchase parking permits. Please visit the My Campus Permit website to purchase your permit and for more information. You can also use the link in MyPortal. Parking permits may be purchased online or at any campus or center and may be used at all SCCCD campuses.

The new system requires an SCCCD login and your vehicle's license plate number, make and color. You will also need to enter an address where your permit can be mailed to. A temporary permit can be printed which is good for two weeks until you receive your permit in the mail.

Enforcement for parking permits will begin the first day of class.

  • Students will be ticketed in staff stalls or ADA handicapped stalls without proper DMV-issued permits.
  • There will be relaxed parking during the first two weeks of the semester only in student stalls.

Visit the My Campus Permit website to purchase your permit online. If you prefer to pay in person using cash or credit card, visit the Admissions and Records Office in AC-2 Room 130 to make your payment. You will then be given a promo code that will allow you to order your permit online. If you purchase both the parking permit and the permit hanger you will be given 2 separate promo codes. You will enter the promo codes on the Review Order screen.

Motorcycles may park in designated motorcycle parking stalls free of charge. Please note that you will need to add your motorcycle information into your My Campus Permit account and purchase a zero-dollar motorcycle permit.

When motorcycles are parked outside of designated motorcycle parking areas, a regular student parking permit will still be required.

Visiting campus? You can purchase your daily parking permit for $1 before coming to campus. If you have already arrived on campus, find a parking spot first, then go online to purchase your permit. You do not need to print a temporary permit for display, although this is recommended if you purchase your permit before arriving on campus. Daily permits may be used to park in any stall with the exception of staff or ADA handicapped stalls without proper DMV-issued permits. Please visit the My Campus Permit website for more information.

Accessible Parking is available on campus for students who have a DMV disabled placard or license plate. A paid permit is not required in handicapped spaces.
