Change to Certification Requests

On January 5, 2021 the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 was signed into law. There are several provisions related to education benefits. Automatic renewal of a covered individual in courses and programs of education is prohibited. Therefore, effective Summer/Fall 2022 all students wanting to use benefits must submit a semester request form for each individual term they wish to be certified for. Students may no longer request certification for an entire academic year.

Students must sign and submit the VA Certification Formto the school certifying official for each individual term they are requesting certification for.
