Your name will be announced as you walk across the stage to receive your diploma tube and a special 2024 Commencement Cord. You will also have your photo taken during the ceremony which will be available after graduation.
Students who anticipate meeting degree and/or certificate requirements by the end of a term need to submit a degree application for the degree in Self-Service by the stated deadline for that term. Failure to apply before the final deadline will delay the granting of the degree/certificate to the end of the next term.
To be eligible to participate in commencement, complete the steps below. Any deadlines listed below are subject to change – check your SCCCD student email regularly for important notifications.
Associate Degrees are not granted automatically when students complete the requirements

Our commencement ceremony will be held outdoors at Clovis Community College on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the main campus located at 10309 N. Willow Ave., Fresno, CA., 93730.
FREE PARKING! There will be no fee for parking on campus for the event. Information regarding parking for guests including passenger drop-off locations was emailed to students on May 16th.
