CCC Named 2024 Champion for Excellence in Placement in Black English Success
Per the Campaign for College Opportunity, the Black English Success award recognizes colleges with the highest percentage of Black students completing transfer-level English within one year of enrollment, with a particular emphasis on closing racial equity gaps. This remarkable accomplishment requires a success rate about 70% and reflects the hard work and dedication of our faculty and classified professionals in fostering student achievement and equitable access.

Clovis Community College is joining the prestigious ‘Achieving the Dream’ network to advance equity and student success. “Achieving the Dream” (ATD) is a network of colleges leading education reform. On April 11, they announced that CCC will be joining this prestigious network along with seven other community colleges. These colleges are making a bold commitment to their students and the communities they serve.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Campaign for College Opportunity named Clovis Community College a 2021 Champion of Higher Education for our exemplary work in implementing the Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT). Clovis Community College is consistently one of the top performers in the state for the number of ADTs awarded relative to campus enrollment (per 50 full-time equivalent students in 2019-20).
Aspen Prize - Top 150
Clovis Community College was selected as one of the Aspen Institute's 150 community colleges nationwide that are eligible to compete for the 2023 Aspen Prize. Clovis Community College was selected for this honor from 1,000 community colleges across the nation based on our strong student outcomes.
