Borrow an iPad for a Day
Big test coming up that needs extra notes? Need to polish up that project? Check out an iPad from the library for 24 hours to easily add the finishing touches. Just complete this Technology User Agreement online or at the library. You must be a CCC student and bring a valid Photo ID to check one out.
Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month
Since 1990, the United States has observed Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May to "pay tribute to the contributions [that] generations of Asian/Pacific Americans have made to American history, society and culture" (Library of Congress).
The library is celebrating the heritage and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders with a display of children’s books, an online research guide that provides information and resources, and relevant books highlighted online in a OneSearch Collection.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
This year’s campaign is “how surroundings impact mental health.” Mental Health America wants you to “look around, look within.” Browse the library display for uplifting messages and a selection of helpful and inspirational books. You can also explore the library’s Mental Health Resources Guide.
