The detrimental health effects of cigarette smoking and secondhand smoke exposure is widely known and well documented over multiple generations. E-Cigarettes are newer, not as well regulated, and not yet as well researched as cigarettes. The long-term health effects of vaping are not yet known. This free 30-minute Canvas course reviews some of the early research findings related to e-cigs and vaping that may give insight into the possible health effects of long-term use and of secondhand exposure to exhaled e-cig vapor.
