Finish Line Scholars Emergency Grant

The Foundation for California Community Colleges created the Finish Line Scholars program with the intent of awarding eligible colleges funds to provide to students halfway through their course of study. The program guideline allows for 80% of the funds to be provided as scholarship and 20% as emergency grants. For the initial year of the program 2020-21 due to the national pandemic colleges were allowed to utilize 100% of the funds as emergency grants

Clovis Community College was allocated $128,000 and awarded a total of $176,500 by utilizing additional funds from Clovis’ Institutional Portion of the CARES Act to 209 students with awards ranging from $250 to $1,200 depending on enrollment status.
