Anthropology Associate in Arts Degree for Transfer

The Anthropology Associate of Arts Degree for Transfer (AA-T in Anthropology) will give students an understanding of the biological and cultural characteristics of humans. Students will learn the techniques and methods of professional anthropologists and archaeologists. They will gain an understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and societies around the world. They will also gain an understanding of the evolution and biological adaptations of humans and other primate species. Professional Anthropologists work in a variety of career fields including archaeology, cultural resource management, forensics, and historic preservation.
