The Benefits
The benefits of becoming a tutor are many and include receiving an hourly wage, having a convenient job site and being part of a collaborative community, retaining subject area competency, and feeling good about helping others. Tutoring is a wonderful experience to add to a resume and may give you an advantage over your peers when it comes time to apply for internships and other professional opportunities.
Requirements
To be eligible for hire, all applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 units and available on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for meetings.
When We Hire
The Tutorial Center is always accepting applications, but we hire for any given semester in the one preceding it. For instance, hiring for a fall semester occurs in April and May of the same year.
