Printing and Copying on Campus

Black & White printing is available in the library (AC2-148) and in the computer lab (AC1-120).
Photo copying and Color printing is available in the library. 

Students can print and copy on campus with the PaperCut printing system. It deducts the cost of your printing directly from your online PaperCut account. You can print from campus computers or your own device. (Your PaperCut account can also be use for printing at Fresno City College and Madera Community College.)

What are my login credentials for printing?

You will use the same login for every step:

Username: your student ID#
Password: your Canvas/Portal password

Where can I print?

  • Black and White printing is available in the Open Computer Lab (AC1-120) and the library (AC2-148)
  • The library also has photocopying and color printing available. 

How much does printing and copying cost?

  • Black and White: 10¢ per side, 20¢ for double sided
  • Color: 25¢ per side, 50¢ for double sided.

 How do I pay for printing?

  • Credit/Debit/Tap: Ask at the library desk ($5 minimum)
  • Cash: Use the pay-station in the library (bills & coins) or the Open Computer Lab (bills only)

How do I print from a campus computer:

  • Open your document and click print
  • The printer must be "myprint"
  • If printing in color,  select color under "printer properties"
  • Click print and wait for the login screen
  • Log in with your student ID number and Canvas/Portal password
  • A popup will say that "Your document has been held in a queue"
  • Add money to your PaperCut account if needed
  • Go to the Dell printer to log in to release black and white prints

How do I print from my own device?

For Apple devices:

  • Open the app that you want to print from
  • To find the print option, tap the app’s share icon 
  • Tap the printer icon or print 
  • If prompted, log in with your student ID number and Canvas/Portal password
  • Select # of copies
  • The paper size should be letter
  • Select the printer: "MyPrint" 
  • Click print

For Android Phones:

  • Install the  Mobility Print app from the Google Play Store
  • Tap launch
  • Tap Android settings
  • Tap Mobility Print
  • Tap the enable toggle
  • Exit out of settings and Mobility Print
  • Print your document
  • Select "MyPrint"  (You must be logged in to SCWIFI)
  • When prompted log in with your student ID number and Canvas/Portal password, then click next
  • Select the Remember Me check box if you want it to remember your login details for that printer for one week

For Windows Laptops:

  • Download and run the Mobility Print Printer Setup which can be found at  PaperCut Mobility Print Help Center.
  • Click save
  • Click the saved document
  • Click Yes to allow the app to make changes to your computer
  • Select I Accept the Agreement, then click next
  • Select "MyPrint"  (You must be logged in to SCWIFI)
  • Click next
  • When prompted log in with your student ID number and Canvas/Portal password, then click next
  • Click finish

How to make copies:

  • Add money to your PaperCut account if needed
  • Go to the Canon copier near the Research Help Desk in the library
  • Log in with your student ID number and Canvas/Portal password
  • Click access device
  • Click copy
  • Check that desired settings are set correctly
  • Click start
