Googling it doesn't’t cut it for college-level research. You need scholarly, credible, and peer-reviewed resources for use in class assignments and research projects. Our research databases provide articles and resources written by experts in their fields that have been evaluated for accuracy before being published.

This is the definitive database of literature covering the history and culture of the United States from prehistory to the present. With Journals from 1955 to today, this database is without question the most important bibliographic reference tool for U.S. history.

Gale Literature

Finding the most diverse, evidence-based perspectives on any given author is important when exploring literary research. This database contains literature criticism, biographies, topic and work overviews, links to audio interviews, and much more.

Environment Complete

This database provides hundreds of top environment records and monographs covering agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, public policy, sustainability, and other related subjects. It also includes an environmental thesaurus.

The foremost scholarly art encyclopedia is updated regularly and covers global art and architecture from prehistory to present day. Includes peer-reviewed articles from around the world, accompanied by images, bibliographies, and links to additional resources.

Communication and Mass Media

This database provides a quality research solution with numerous journals in communication, mass media, and other closely-related fields of study to create a research and reference resource of unprecedented scope and depth encompassing the breadth of the communication discipline.

eBook Central

A collection of 25,000 full-text e-books spanning multiple subject areas with breadth and depth including fiction, non-fiction, and reference titles. Ebook Central delivers authoritative, scholarly content from University Presses and other top publishers. .

GreenFILE

GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government, and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. 

Gale Science

No need to be Bill Nye the Science Guy to master science research. By integrating authoritative reference content with headlines and videos, this database draws you into the subject matter, showing how scientific disciplines relate to real-world issues ranging from weather patterns to obesity.

Political Science Complete

This database covers political topics with a worldwide focus, including international relations, political theory, and comparative politics. It contains hundreds of journals, reference books, and conference papers, including those of the International Political Science Association.
