Karie Hannigan, a Clovis Community College Athletics Counselor, earned recognition from the CCCAA (California Community Colleges Athletics Association).
She was acknowledged for her efforts in promoting success for the student-athletes at Clovis Community College.
Tony Thompson, President of 3C4A - California Community College Counselors/Advisors Academic Association for Athletics, stated that Karie has always:
"been a very active advocate for the student-athletes at Clovis. she has nominated a student-athlete every year for at least the last 3 years for our Student-Athlete Achievement Award, is active in issue-based list serve conversations with our membership, responds to emails in a timely fashion and is working hard for Clovis." He also said, "You're fortunate to have her!"
While this year's CCCAA convention has been cancelled due to COVID-19, she will be recognized at next year's convention.
Pamm Zierfuss-Hubbard (pamm.hubbard@cloviscollege.edu), Director of Athletics at CCC said:
“Being honored by an association by your peers is a tremendous accomplishment and I wanted each of you to know about it."
She also stated how much she appreciates all that Karie does for Clovis Community College and for our student-athletes.
Karie is amazing and truly dedicated to serving students.
