Today, Community College League of California President and CEO Larry Galizio issued the following statement in response to the election of the 2020-2021 Chief Executive Officers of the California Community Colleges (CEOCCC) Board:
"On behalf of the League Boards and Staff, congratulations to the following campus, district and statewide leaders on their re-election as members of the CEOCCC Board.CEOCCC Board members represent their colleagues by region or at-large and fulfill the important responsibility of analyzing and making recommendations on legislation and the State Budget, serving on committees, task forces, and working groups, and generally representing the district and college leadership perspective at the statewide level. Thank you to all participating in the process, and for your commitment and dedication to advancing the mission of California's community colleges."

Those elected and appointed to the CEOCCC Board will begin their term on June 1, 2020. The members elected will serve 3-year terms.
