CMAC Member, Monique Hall, is organizing a new group project designed to build up the community of local Black filmmakers. This group is meant to be a creative space to share ideas and provide support for black creatives through content collaboration in film.
Monique says, “In these times of Black Lives Matter, we have an opportunity to capitalize on platforms available to elevate our voices–the marginalized, Afrocentric voices of the community. Who else to tell the stories of the black community than the members themselves?”
