Clovis Community College (CCC) engineering students earned first place for the third consecutive semester at the annual Spring Central California Engineering Design Challenge conference on April 6 at Fresno State.
The other CCC teams earned 2nd through 7th, 9th, 11th, 20th, and 22nd place among 25 teams from Fresno State, Reedley College, Madera Community College Center, and CCC. One of the CCC teams earned the award for the best engineering design.
The students in Instructor Dejan Pavic’s Engineering 10 course had to design, build, and operate devices that transported a payload up an incline. The students were very excited to participate in this collegiate event.
