Dr. Bennett, along with Chancellor Parnell and college presidents, are members of the DRIVE (Developing the Region’s Inclusive and Vibrant Economy) community group.
The group’s main goal is to develop a 10-year plan to make Fresno’s economy more inclusive and sustainable.
Many of the Fresno DRIVE’S goals align with Clovis’ strategic goals, including offering students access to college by expanding opportunities and removing all access barriers. An example includes CCC’s implementation and promotion of the free college program via AB19 and the Central Valley Promise.
