The showing of the documentary, "The Hunting Ground." This documentary brings attention to sexual assault on college campuses.

Sexual Assault Resource Fair

ASG and Title IX will host an informational fair with resources around sexual assault.

Guest Speaker, Mirna Garcia

Guest Speaker, Mirna Garcia with RAINN, Rape Abuse & Incest National Network. Garcia is a survivor of the “Tower Rapist” who terrorized the Tower District in the early 90’s.

Rape Counseling Information

Rape Counseling Services will provide information on sexual assault, drug facilitated sexual assault, statistics in colleges and nationally, trauma related to sexual assault.

Take Back the Night

“Take Back the Night” in collaboration withFresno City College. Take Back the Night is a non-profit to end sexual violence in all forms. Started in the 1970’s protesting the lack of safety for women, when the murder of a woman occurred when she walked home from work. Take Back the Night is committed to ending sexual violence for all people of all sexual and gender identities, races, ethnicities, nationalities, religious beliefs, ages, abilities, and statuses.
