Writing WorkshopJoin Carlos Andrés Gómez (International Book Award-winning author, poet, and educator) for this generative writing workshop that explores ways to reclaim language as it intersects with asserting our authentic identities and stories while dismantling narratives tied to structural oppression and shame. Carlos will facilitate close readings of poems by Angel Nafis and José Olivarez and then guide participants through a structured prompt to write their own poems of reclamation.
