Join us as we Lift Up and Level Up to honor Black Student Success Week with a day trip to Sacramento State University!
We will embark on a campus tour, then visit the Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum, which gives homage to Mrs. Sojourner by expanding the historical & biographical knowledge of her life’s work and carrying on her mission by teaching, demonstrating and promoting projects that accentuate the ideals and principles for which she stood.
30 student and 5 staff/faculty spots are available and will be filled on a first come- first serve basis. Approved/signed travel and conference forms are required to reserve a spot.
MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCCCD.
Meals and transportation will be provided.
Bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. by the roundabout near the Child Development Center and AC2. Museum tour ends at 3:30 p.m. We will return when traffic permits.
