Get ready for an exciting challenge in our Egg Drop Competition! Teams of 1-3 participants will have 30 minutes to design and build a device using the materials provided on the day of the event. The goal is simple: protect an egg from breaking after being dropped from a height of 209 inches (about 17 feet). Your device must be attached to the egg, with no parachutes allowed.
Scoring is based on three key factors: the egg's survival (it must not crack or break), how close the egg lands to the center of the target, and the lightness of your design. Teams are allowed up to 3 eggs for testing during the building process, and all construction must stop once the 30-minute timer runs out. Will your egg survive the fall, and can your design be both innovative and efficient? Time to put your engineering skills to the test!
