The National African American Read-In is the nation's first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. Participants have 5 minutes to read from literary work by a Black author or writer. You can read a favorite poem or poems, an excerpt from an essay or article, music lyrics, a short story, or even something from a children’s book.
