- Apply for certificate of achievement on webadvisor at the beginning of the semester.
The Certificate of Achievement requires four course from the following: Engr 2, Engr 4, Engr 6, Engr 8, Engr (40 or 5) or CSCI 40, Chem 3A or Chem 1A, Physics 4C
*Student should carefully plan which of these courses to take based on their specific major and intended transfer institution(s). Some transfer institutions will have minimum requirements for transfer that will necessitate choosing more than 4 courses from this section.
*Student should complete the programming course specifically required by his or her transfer institution of choice. The choices are: ENGR 40 Programming for Scientists and Engineers (4 units), ENGR 5 Programming and Problem Solving in MATLAB (3 units), and CSCI 40 Programming Concepts and Methodology I (4 units).
*Student should check the minimum chemistry transfer requirements for his or her intended transfer institution.

Things to Think About
- Community Organizations – Internships Career Center Connection
- Transfer requirements for the CSU’s, UC’s, and Private institutions
- Recommend involvement in Engineering Club: Advisor Christopher Glaves
- Utilize the Tutorial Services
- Follow up with Instructors during office hours
- It is crucial that the student investigate the transfer requirements for each four-year institution that they plan to apply to for transfer. This plan was developed with CSU Fresno primarily in mind. Other transfer institutions may require modifying the courses in this plan.
- AP (Advanced Placement) credit can satisfy some course requirements
