Public Hearing and Adoption:
- 2020-2021 Final SCCCD Budget
- Resolution 2020.32, Refinancing bond and saving taxpayers approximately $1.2 million
- Resolution 2020.33, Issue $205 million in bonds to complete projects
Public Hearing and Ratification:
- Contract Extension for full-time faculty
- Contract Extension for part-time faculty
Adopted:
- Resolution 2020.35 to form an Ad Hoc Committee to identify appointee to the Personnel Commission. The committee will be made up by Trustees Leal, Perea and Kahn.
- Resolution 2020.36, Appreciation and Tenure (posthumously) for Reedley College Instructor April Barajas
Approved the following:
- Academic Personnel Transactions as presented
- Classified Personnel Transactions as presented
- Construction contract to Harris Construction for West Fresno campus
Approved the following Grant Agreements:
- The District has received a $3,386,414 CARES grant from the state Chancellor’s office.
- Fresno City College has received a $557, 314 renewal agreement from the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
- Fresno City College, Reedley College, Clovis Community College, and Madera Community College have been awarded a total of $2,160,775 in TRIO Student Support Services grant funds.
- Fresno Foundation for the On-Ramp to STEM has awarded Fresno City College $38,047 and Clovis Community College $49,888.
Reconvene to open session and consideration of executive contracts:
- Untable agenda items 12.02 Consideration to Approve Contract Extensions for Unpresented Employees – Vice Chancellors and 12.03 Consideration to Approve Contract Extensions for Unrepresented Employees –College Presidents from the August 4, 2020, board meeting.
- Approved salary adjustments and contract extensions for college presidents and vice chancellors.
