Grant Agreements:
- The Center for International Trade Development was awarded a $449,111 CA Dept of Food and Agriculture grant to develop Post COVID-19 Export Markets for California's Specialty Crop Industry. The funding will provide resources to facilitate webinars, virtual trade shows, outbound trade mission, and foreign trade show; and conduct outreach and recruitment of California specialty crop companies for project participation in eight foreign market trade shows, Canada fresh produce outbound trade mission, and Asia fruit logistical foreign trade show.
- Fresno City College has received a new $125,000 agreement from Chevron. The funding will provide resources for the initial development of the Maker Space project. In addition, the college will incorporate various hands-on activities and projects within their engineering classes and enhance existing outreach program to local high schools.
Closed Session:
The Board of Trustees unanimously took action to not reemploy a probationary faculty member in a career and technical education program.
