President

Dr. Kim E. Armstrong was appointed to serve as the third president of Clovis Community College on January 3, 2023. As President of Clovis Community College, Dr. Armstrong is responsible for leadership, budget oversight, and supervision of California’s 113th community college, which is a TOP transfer college in California and serves over 13,000 students annually.

Vice President of Administrative Services

Lorrie Hopper just celebrated 37 years with State Center Community College District. She has served in various capacities during her tenure. Lorrie served in the Fresno City College Business Office, District Office as Accounting Manager and Accountant/Auditor, and Accounting Technician at the North Centers. Lorrie has served in her current position since 2013. Lorrie enjoys reading, taking walks, and spending time with her family.

Kira Tippins

Interim Vice President of Student Services

Since January 2024, Kira has served as the Interim Vice President of Student Services where she oversees 125 full-time and part time classified professionals, faculty, and managers. She is responsible for a budget of over $28 million in grants and $4.5 million in general funds. Kira works collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure holistic safety and support for students.
