Library Newsletter - September 2021
Sept 26 – Oct 2 is Banned Books Week
Banned Books Week celebrates our freedom to read what we choose and we celebrate it during the last week of September every year. Activities during the week highlight the value of having free and open access to information as well as the attempts to hinder that access.
For more information, read our Banned Books Week 2021 Libguide and follow us on Instagram or Twitter @cloviscclibrary.
Ask-a-Librarian
If you need research or reference help, our librarians are ready to assist you. One of our CCC librarians will be running the 24/7 chat service during regular library hours. After hours, your questions will be answered by other librarians who can access CCC resources
Do you need help with finding sources for a research project? Meet with a librarian one-on-one. Provide some information about your assignment and research goals and we'll contact you to set up the appointment.
Appointments are available in person and via Zoom. Research help appointments are about 30 minutes long. Please book your appointment at least two days in advance.
Library-to-Go
Our Library-to-Go service allows students, staff, and faculty to request books, CD audiobooks, and DVDs from the library’s general collection. Sign-in to the CCC OneSearch Catalog to request the items you’d like to check out and include your preferred phone number. You will receive an email or call when your item is ready.
