Student Pathway 2021−2022 Philosophy AA-T

Philosophy Associate in Arts Degree for Transfer

A Philosophy Associate in Arts Degree for Transfer is designed for students who plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in philosophy or a related major. In addition to providing a strong philosophical foundation, the Philosophy Associate in Arts Degree for Transfer is designed to develop critical thinking skills, as well as enhance the ability to read, comprehend, and analyze complex arguments on a variety of issues. These skills will be valuable assets to transfer students to four-year institutions, whether they major in philosophy or another field of study.
