Teacher III - Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement in Child Development is designed to prepare students to work with young children in a variety of early care and education settings. Upon completion of the Child Development Certificate of Achievement, the student possesses the coursework required to work as a teacher in both a private or public early care and education setting serving preschool-age children. Additionally, with appropriately documented work experience, the student is eligible to apply for the California Child Development Permit through the Commission of Teacher Credentialing at the Associate Teacher level.
