Held Public Hearings & Ratified:
Resolution 2020.15 authorizing right of way easement to Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District, for the purpose of relocating the storm drain pipe for the construction of the FCC Parking Structure
Resolution 2020.17 authorizing a temporary construction easement to the City of Fresno for the purpose of constructing a new perimeter block wall at the Northeast Surface Water Treatment Facility that is adjacent to Clovis Community College.
Grant Agreements:
Clovis Community College has received a $350,000 sub-agreement from UC, Merced to increase capacity at the Small Business Development Center to assist small businesses affected by COVID-19.
Reedley College has received an $88,000 agreement from the Resnick Foundation for a virtual ag camp to promote careers in agriculture.
Clovis Community College has received a $230,000 SBA renewal agreement to continue providing private business consulting, capital accesses assistance, training seminars, and other specialty programs.
Fresno City College has received an $85,255 renewal grant from the California Department of Education to assist college students with two-year-old children to obtain an education while their children are in the Child Care Center.
Fresno City College has received a $408,463 renewal grant from the California Department of Education to assist college students with three and four-year-old children to obtain an education while their children are in the Child Care Center.
Clovis Community College has received an additional $40,000 from UC, Merced for the GO-Biz Technical Assistance Expansion Program bringing the total amount for the grant to $145,000. This will be used to provide small business consulting and training for the Valley Community Small Business Development Center.
